The business development department is currently working on several new initiatives that will be announced here in the near furure.

Completed

A second and third digital billboard location for Stillaguamish Outdoor Media has been completed in March 2017, expanding coverage to WA-530 in addition to I-5 South coverage near Marysville.

The business development department successfully started Stillguamish Outdoor Media, a new digital outdoor advertising company in July 2016.

The new River Rock Smoke Shop was successfully opened in May 2016.

The Angel of the Winds Hotel project was successfully completed in December 2014.

The new River Rock Tobacco & Fuel was successfully completed in February 2014.

Angel of the Winds Hotel to open in mid-December

ARLINGTON, WA March 4, 2014

ARLINGTON The Angel of the Winds Casino wanted to open its $27 million expansion and new five-story hotel by this New Year's Eve.

Looks like they're ahead of schedule.

The casino announced Nov. 4 that the expansion will open by mid-December. Reservations can be made by calling 360-474-9740 or visiting www.angelofthewinds.com.

The expansion will give the casino a hotel for the first time and add 100,000 square feet to the casino while creating 50 new jobs, general manager Travis O'Neil said in a news release.

River Rock Smoke Shop opens at I-5 Exit 210

ARLINGTON, WA March 4, 2014

The Stillaguamish Tribe's third River Rock Smoke Shop opened with a full day of fanfare on Friday, Feb. 28, as the convenience store and gas station at 23704 13th Ave. NE, just off Interstate 5 at Exit 210, drew literally more cars than they had room for in their parking lot.

"This is definitely better than we expected," Store Director Michael Olguin said. "We thought we'd just have a small crowd, but the weather definitely helped. And so did the Sea Gals," he laughed.
